Newest Review: ... odd pair can rub a little bit if I wear them all day walking round the shops, but nothing that can't be cured by a plaster. Since I started having to wear "smart" for work, I have also bought several smart pairs of heels and flat shoes. They look lovely, and are comfortable enough to wear all day, even if I am on my feet a lot. I have also found LK Bennett shoes to be ... more  ... hardwearing. Most of the work/party type shoes have leather soles, so they are not that great for wearing in the rain, and certainly not if it is icy, as they can be slippery.

I have worked at LkBennett for a few years and although found it a great experience, there is one thing that future customers should be told to be careful about: price changes. The price of an item tends to vary quite a lot in the course of a season and I have seen some styles go from 99 to 129 pounds only to be reduced to 99 on sale a couple of weeks later. Now that's fair trade? What about these shoes that were 99 pounds one winter, then got carried over the next season at 110 and then 129 a week later? Or that lovely leopard pony flat that (hold on to your seat!) started at 99 to 129 a day later, then 129 the day after and finally reduced on mid-season at 99 the following day.That's what I had to put up with....

Please Be Warned, I purchased a pair of all leather ankle boots with a slightly pointed toe. After wearing them to work for a couple of days I noticed the leather had scuffed off the toe area revealing a blue backing underneath - the leather was so thin there was nothing to polish! I went back to the shop twice to see the manager and rather than apologise for the inconvenience, she accused me of walking on my tip toes - kicking my desk - using escalators and driving in my boots! I would love to be so agile! I rquested they were sent off to their quality department but was left waiting 3 weeks - after several calls chasing a response,I was told they were not going to do anything about it! disgraceful way to deal with legitimate complaints and an appalling way to deal with customers.

I must express my delight with my recent trip to l.k. bennett. I found a most elegant dress perfect for the occasion i have soon. On the whole i find the clothes and accessories fresh and luxurious and more often than not available in many colours.
What i enjoy the most are the sales advisors there. Nothing is ever too mych trouble and can even organise garments to be sent to your home (or nearest store) if they are out of stock.
Furthermore the returns policy has changed offering a full refund within 7 days with any non sale items.
If you have never visited the stores it is certainly worth checking the website at your own risk - it is certainly very tempting!
