Advantages: Good choice of clothes at a wide variety of prices, different to High Street choice

Disadvantages: Not as much choice for men or children, some of the sizing is odd!

I ordered from La Redoute about a year ago and was not impressed with the quality of the clothes so sent them all back. However, after receiving a mini catalogue through the post I though the clothes looked nice so decided to give them a try.

I ordered through their website which I found very easy to navigate. Less than a week later my order arrived.

Trying on the clothes, I was impressed with most of the items as they were of good quality and fit really nicely. A couple of the tops I ordered were too small, even though they were stated to be the same size as the other ones that fit. I also ordered a pair of leggings in large which I could not even get over my knees (I am only just over a size 14 with my post baby weight and therefore thought large would be plenty big enough!). I decided to keep most of the items and just post back a couple. There is a free courier service and £1 is charged to your account if you decide to post the items back.

Price - I find the prices to be extremely reasonable, especially their mini price items, however, they do some more expensive, designer items too.

Choice - There is a big choice of female clothing of all different prices and styles. The mens and childrens clothing does not offer as much choice, however, there is enough. There is also a good range of shoes and homewares.

Offers - As a new customer I got 20% off my first order together with a fairly decent new gift - which will probably make a good Xmas pressie for someone! With my order I also received various other offers to use should I place another order with them.

I like La Redoute as their clothes are different to those available on the High Street so you don't end up wearing the same as everyone else!

Summary: Overall a good catalogue service - well worth a try!
