After having watched my boobs tragically shrink during weight loss (I lost 3 and a half stone!) I decided that I needed some new bras, as my bosoms lay pathetically on the bottom of my bra cups, with a big gaping space above them!

As I was walking through my local shopping centre, I saw the bra wonderland shop swarming with women and couples, with the large, lit up, hot pink 'La Senza' sign above it.
I stalled for a second, thinking, 'Hmm, this could be just what I need.' I had some reservations however, as I had mostly got my bras from Marks and Spencer as I was introduced to them first by my mum... You could say I had Bra Prejudice.

But, I decided to give it a shot. Why not? I could find some lush new bras to suit my newly slender figure (and smaller boobs! :-( )

My favourite bras from here are the girly/saucy types. I recently bought one in the sale (15/07/09) and its delish. Black satin balconette with pink satin detail, with black lacy decoration layed over the pink satin. There is a little bow between the cups to add detail. They nicely support my boobs, creating a nice bulge. :) My boobs are C cups, so they aren't the tiniest boobs, but they can still look lifeless in bras, but La Senza gets it right almost every time!

I also love the basic bras. I have had many of the £7.50 push up underwired cotton bras, and they are brilliant. They make your bosoms look pert and bouncy, perfect under all clothing. They make you feel sexy as you know your boobs look great, however the styles available can feel quite childish, so they may not make you feel like an inner sex goddess like the more flirty bras.

Sizing Service and changing rooms:

I wasn't sure of my size, so I was measured in La Senza just to try it. As I walked to the changing rooms, an assistant asked me if I needed anything, and I asked if I could be fitted. For around 3-5 minutes, I could prepare myself while inspecting the changing room... They look from the inside a bit like bedrooms! They have wooden walls, (cupboard like!) and 3 hooks to hang your clothes, bras, sexy nightwear, babydolls or what have you. These are very handy. As well as these, there is a small shelf too, where I put any jewellery and bits and bobs that get in the way. There is only one mirror, which is a pity, as you can't see how anything looks from the back. I can understand how you wouldn't really need to with bras, but with slips and babydolls, you wan't to see how sexy you look from all angles... and for this, they could really do with putting 2 mirrors in there...

The fitting service was friendly, however, I wasn't as comfortable as I am in Marks and Spencer... I think it was due to the young attractive woman with a strong personality who was measuring me just standing there in my bra. I felt quite sensitive and almost like I was being judged. Compared to the kind, older ladies in Marks and Spencer who make me feel at ease, this was completely different...
However, she was lovely, and I think its my own paranoia which prevented me from being comfortable. I was measured as a 32D in la senza... and I was delighted.

However, recently on holiday with my friends, they solely and harshly disagreed, and said i was definitely not a D, and I was more like a B or C.. and that I should get re-measured. So I took it to trusty M&S, and they put me at a 34C.

I thought this was more accurate, so I am going by their sizing as I trust them more.

So overally, sizing service wasn't great, but it was ok, and fairly accurate.

Everything else:

The knickers there are great, and there are plently of great offers - 5 for £12 is the best selling. The knickers are lovely! Girly, frilly, simple and some are sexy, luscious, and lacy! Fabulous range of briefs, thongs etc... really good range.

They sell lots of extra bits, gel enhancements, extra bra adjustment straps, sexy stockings, eye-masks, naughty bed time treats and loads more. These are great for those extras you always forget, and extra treats to treat your partner!
