I bought some Pitta Bread from Lidl and it turned out to be MOULDY. Even though the pack was airtight closed.

Took the Mouldy Pitta Bread the Lidl store and they Refused to exchange it for something else. The Manager was insisting that Lidl's policy is for exchange of the SAME item. This is crazy!. I did not want to take another Pitta bread from the same Mouldy batch! I was put off! I wanted an exchange for something else, but they were having none of it.

The Manager was not botered that they ruined our meal as we did not have any Pitta Bread.

I wrote to the head office to complain, who offered a couple of quid in their letter, which we could be redeemed in their store. I took the letter to a Lidl store but they would not honour it!

Lidl don't take food quality SERIOUSLY, otherwise they would have trained their staff properly. I was surprised that they stuff were not ashamed to sell such food.

Summary: They don't take food quality seriously!
