Advantages: didnt see any
Disadvantages: cluttered isles
we have had a Lidl Supermarket since oct and my god im never goin in there again!! only went once the 2 nd day of the shop opening as everyone was sayin how there cheaper than netto and aldi but they were wrong it more dearer than our normal shop and didnt even get all my shopping ended up goin netto
lidl can be found in most towns now. they are marketed as a cheaper supermarket with the credit crunch and people not spending as much most people will have been and tried it
Lidl is usually marketed quite well having leaflets threw your door ive only had 1 leaflet and that wasnt very good when i went i couldnt find hardly anything the shelfs were crambed full and when i did find everything it cost more
Lidl is a German brand as many of you may know but they do also sell brand named items such as Colgate, Kellogs, Cadburys and so on
people who go shopping at tescos the more expensive shops always pick and buy the branded labels of food which turns out you are spending more but with this credit crunch i think people who do that should look on the shelfs and find a cheaper item and try it and next time you go shopping try the brand cheaper than the 1 you brought before as you could save up to half your shopping bill plus most of the cheaper and dearer food are the same just put in different packaging most of the people working in my local arent english and most arent any use to you if needed help the isles were cluttered in more stock or cardboard and you have to pay for a carry bag
I know that other shops are giving you points such as tescos for reusing your bags but I think its a great idea as long as there not priced over the top as it may make you to reuse your bags to save a few pence.
A good allround shop that may help you save a bit money!
