Advantages: Prices are cheap and good special buys each week

Disadvantages: fruit and veg can sometimes be below good quality

Now I have both lidl and Aldi near by and i have to say that i prefer Aldi. Lidl stores seems more chaotic to me and things seem to be just dumped in heaps. Im sure they would say that this all keeps the price of the food down but i also find their stores are not as clean and that does put me off. It can be very hit or miss with the quality of the fruit and vegtables, sometimes it is lovely other look like they have sat there for a couple of weeks unloved.
The prices ar good but unlike Adli i dont find the quality as good.
They dont offer baskets which are a pain and you have to remember to take your own bags or pay for theirs.
But on the possitive i do keep an eye on what special offers are coming n every week as there can be some real bargains.

Summary: Good for a cupboard stock up but not every week
