Great prices, great products! Lidl cost, (Little Cost!) (Lidl)

Advantages: Smaller stores, good value for money products

Disadvantages: Remember to take bags or be prepared to pay 3p each

Recently, due to circumstances, I've been shopping at my local "Lidl" store. Much to my delight, I have found the experience very good.

The store is not full of your normal brands, as many are from abroad, but I don't have a problem of trying something new. As yet I've not been disappointed!

My cats, who are normally fussy eaters, have appreciated a change of brand. They now eat "Opticat" and thoughly enjoy it! I've also changed to their own brand washing liquid and it's as good as other own brand's used before. I'm not a biscuit lover but they have some really great ones in this store; try the chocolate biscuit range because there is a great selection. Also the fruit and veg is great value and you can get all you normally need for the week with no problem. The meat department has a good selection and again the prices are acceptable. They do have a section of household goods but these tend to change weekly, so if you see something you want get it as you may miss out. They have an excellent range of tinned fish from every day mackeral to salmon in sauces. I've also found a fantastic range of juice type drinks from orange to Cranberry and raspberry. So I'm sure you'll find everything you need at Lidl!

Give this low cost store a look, you might be pleasantly surprised at the quality and range on offer. My shopping bill has gone down but my choice and quantity hasn't. I'm more than happy to shop here and will continue to do so for the fore seeable future.
