What a letdown. (Littlewoods)

They're fantastic! Until you have a problem...
I've spent quite a lot of money with Littlewoods in the last year. Deliveries are a bit weird- I have actually been looking on my account, checking that the due date is still two days away when the delivery man has arrived at my door with the goods. Luckily I have always been in when this has happened but it does make me worry at times as I don't want my parcels left with my neighbours.

Their customer service though is horrendous. I bought a £250 cooker on my credit on behalf of my mum. It was delivered faulty and her electrician told her to get a replacement as it could not be fixed. Easily done you'd think, it wasn't our fault surely Littlewoods will sort it out quickly. HAHA! Four weeks later and nothing after numerous calls. Someone will call back in 48 hours to arrange a return. 48 hours from when I wonder? It's never from the time I make the call. It's costing a fortune in call charges. I was going to get some other large household appliances from them but I don't think I will now. I also have another catologue owned by Littlewoods but I don't think I'll be using them either.

It's ok for clothes, but just not worth the hassle when it's a larger item. I don't mind paying extra (Littlewoods are over priced on some items) because you can pay interest free over 20 or 52 weeks, but I really don't like paying for something that doesn't work!

Summary: OK until something goes wrong & you have to speak to a CS "advisor"
