Advantages: NONE
Disadvantages: Stressful, unhelpful, never ring back, requires threats with consumer law to sort anyhthing out!
I have had headaches from this company for some time now. They just could not organise a real good drinking session in a Brewery!!
The staff on the phone are polite enough but they dont know what they are doing and contradicitng each other each time you ring to find out exactly why Littlewoods Direct have changed the minimum payment again and why they have changed thier agreement terms without asking you.
I had ordered goods worth over £900 over a 52 month term and they had put it through over 80 week terms. As you can imagine its taken LOADS of phone calls and time to get NOWHERE....they keep saying there is no such thing as 52 month terms, despite the fact I have the original advert for it in black and white paper!
I have had to write to them a proper letter of complaint. Thier final response wasnt good enough and my statement is still confusing to say the least so I have taken it to the Financial Ombudsman!
Dont be afraid to write a complaint to these people....they are required by consumer law to stay within thier terms of agreement. I pay enough interest for these goods and I expect better service than this. Once the debt is gone it will be the last they get from me!
I URGE YOU NOT TO USE SHOP DIRECT GROUP!!! All the same problems with the other catalogues...inc Kays
Summary: Just plain awful...please avoid at all costs...

- 16/03/09 PLease note that Littlewoods Direct is the same group as Littlewoods. Same system. Direct has higher interest as I understand it thats the only difference |
