Advantages: LONG Clothes that are cut right for the taller woman - can also be bought through mail order

Disadvantages: Shops can be a bit of a long way from home for some people!

I am 6ft and have a 35inch inside leg. Not only that I am in proportion with my height so NO TOPSHOP OR FRENCH CONNECTION I cannot squeeze myself into your largest size that you call a "12". And even when I can they r usually like 1 inch too short! Its not just trouser lengths that can get on your nerves its long skirts and dresses and even tops/blouses too. So when my Mum took me to Long Tall Sally I was in Giant's heaven!

There is everything to cater for a tall girl's needs. Although not everything is in the store you go into - stock is distributed to shops around the country and can be ordered in if you really do want it.

All the garments are tailored to a tall women's propotions so rather than a straight dress with no measurements whatsoever thier dresses are catered for those with long, curvy bodies. I've bought from them a REALLY nice long dress and a great trouser suit that I love!

So not everything in the shop is long - the store offers dresses short/long, skirts - short/long, various lengths in trousers, tops/blouses, Nightwear, underwear and swimming costumes. Its so nice to know that at least some designers have realised that tall people arent all legs and their top half does somehow fit into the equation.

You can choose from 35 inch/38inch inside length trousers and there is a wide range of trouser styles to suit anyone's tastes.

OK - Yes the prices can be expensive - trousers cost from around £26 - but the feeling that you have something that not many people have the height to wear is all worth it!
