Advantages: Amazing smell, works well and ethically sourced and made.

Disadvantages: Not budget friendly but you get what you pay for.

I LOVE Lush. I am a complete and utter addict and going to Lush is a lovely treat which always brightens up my day!.

I go to the Derby Lush, in the Westfield centre. It is a lovely shop, opened just over a year ago after moving into the new Westfield centre from the High street.

The shop is one of the best of the Lush shops and has won many awards for it's customer services. It is easy to see why as the staff are so helpful and knowledgeable. If you prefer to browse alone they are happy to give you space too.

The staff all have training in skin care and hair care and how the products work. They are happy to do consultations on what products would suit you and show you how to use each product.

The products are not cheap but that is because good ingredients are not cheap. Where possible the products are made from natural ingredients and have none, or as little as possible packaging. They use fair trade ingredients and try to keep their carbon footprint low, for instance not using palm oil to save the rainforests.

All products are suitable for vegetarians and many are suitable for vegans too.

So what is not to like, great products that work well, smell amazing and are good for the environment and the world too!

Summary: Go and buy something and try it if you haven't already!
