Makro is pretty handy for a million and one things and I like to go there once every month or two to make the best of the deals on offer.
It's a warehouse stockists for businesses, so you have to be registered as a business or as an employee of a business to use it and get a membership card.
We get the Makro mail, a printed catalogue with the latest deals, so I keep abreast of the good deals most of the time.
We especially like nappies in bulk buy with buy one get one half price offers, washing tablets at half RRP and fabric conditioner at a third of the prices paid in supermarkets.
It can be really good at Easter if you buy a lot of gifts and at Christmas for wrapping paper or indeed the gifts too.
The stock is hugely variable and prone to running out, the 32 inch flatscreen tvs sold out on the first morning when on a good offer so there was little chance for anyone else.
I dislike the fresh meat, I once bought a lot of chicken on a fantastic offer and got home 20 minutes later to find the whole lot stank to high heaven, it was clearly out of date and Makro couldn't care less.
The staff are less than polite at times.
