Maplins.
Ipswich branch is well laid out, and the staff are friendly, and very knowledgeable. If they can't answer your question, they know someone who can. Nothing seems too much trouble. Most stores have a counter at the back of the store where you can ask anything, and usually get a good answer.

I bought an external 320G Seagate hard-drive reduced in price by about £50-60 which went wrong after about 2 months. I took it back and they sent it off to Seagate, who unfortunately couldn't rescue the data. However, Maplins gave me a 400G Seagate with whistles and bells as a replacement within about 18/19 days. They even rang me up to say to collect it.
Tip:- They have genuine special offers monthly. Get the leaflet instore or on the net. But be quick, they don't last long.
I will always get my computer hardware from Maplins.
