Quirky and great fun (Maplin)

Advantages: Has everything anyone could need for electronics

In a funny way, the description above of Maplin does it quite a lot of justice: 'electrical shop'. Basically Maplin sells anything and everything to do with any form of electronics. I absolutely love the store and to me it feels really quirky.

The shop is well designed and they do their best to make it available to everybody. By this I mean that firstly they have large stores so you don't feel cramped. Secondly, they do not present the shop in a complicated manner meaning that it is very accessible to anyone who doesn't know very much about electronics. This doesn't bother those who do, because they will always have what you are looking for.

Most recently I have bought a hard drive from them, this has proven to be a very good buy. I also bought a little adapter from them which lets me plug two sets of headphones into my ipod.

Basically I find any excuse to go and shop in this fantastic store and would well recommend anyone visiting it.
