Advantages: top top quality food

Disadvantages: expensive

Marks and spencers food hall food is in a league of its own compared to other supermarkets. The food is of such good quality, the fresh food is very fresh and a grade as well as the meats are the prime cuts and you can tell you are buying quality.

When i worked in the same town as marks and sepncer i used to religiously get my lunch there as the sandwiches were lovely and fresh and the fillings were a little more interesting than the normal ploughmans or chicken. My faviourites were alsways the pasta salads and especially the tomatoe and basil chicken yum yum! And their dessert were just out of this world.

I also would definatly recommend any of their pre-prepared meals as they are really tasty and made with good quality ingredients. I especially reccomend their chinese take away range. At the moment they are doing an offer for a meal for two for £10 which includes a main course for 2 and sides and a dessert for 2 and a bottle of wine which i think is a bargain.

The biggest down side for me is that i just cant afford to do a weekly regular shop their as it is expensive but if i could affird it i would as i believe you get what you pay for. I wouldnt say they are over pirced because it really is top end food quality you are getting but i will just have to stick to be it being my special occassion shop!

I find the staff extremely helpful and polite and the stores are always clean and tidy. The down side of my local store is it quite small and doesnt have mant tills so can queue for quite a while.

Summary: I love it enough to pay that little extra
