Advantages: branded clothes

Disadvantages: expensive at times

This store is one of the largest shops in Oxford. The outside is quite dated and the 'Marks and Spencer' sign is one of the really old versions. The food hall is at the back of the shop and you have to go through the clothes to get to it which feels quite odd especially on the return when you are carrying food! The selection is large and the food is always amazing. Also they always have a great collection of clothes not just from the marks and spencers standard range but from per una and autograph. My mum always goes in when she's here as she says that they've got a very different range from the stores near her. As is standard in M&S the staff are great and the service is spot on. The shop also has a restaurant on the third floor. The food is a sufficient blood sugar boost but is nothing compared to some of the better specialised restaurants in town. The shop has several escalators to provide an easier shopping experience and the layout means that everything is easy to find and purchase. Their underwear selection wasn't the best the last time i went, but i find this tends to happen! But the service is as always inpeccible!
