I have always been an avid customer of M&S, but over the last few years I have found the quality of their clothes deteriorating, especially in the underwear dept. You can longer guarantee
the lace or elastic on their knickers is going to hold out (or up) the colours fade badly, even hubbies underpants tend to end up in holes, much to his disgust. On the plus side I like the way they do there sizing, specially trousers in 3 legnths, but some of the material they use is appalling some of it reminds me of crimplene.
I have not deserted them completely as I think there returns policy is excellent, and their attitude to credit cards has changed.
The food hall is wonderful and I find their wines & spirits great value for money.
So I think if they bring the quality back, they may find their old customers coming back. Lets be honest the young and trendy are never going to shop with them St Michael is not a designer labelbut a quality label!!!
