Matalan is a large brand with stores all over the country. They sell home ware, clothing for men, women and children and shoes and accessories. They have been going for around 18 years now and have, over the past 5 or so years, grown more popular.

I like Matalan because the prices are so reasonable. Although not as cheap as stores like Primark they are on a par with the likes of Tesco. The quality is also good in relation to the price.

I particularly like the home ware department as their products have really picked up in the fashion stakes over the past few years.

Matalan products are now frequently in fashion magazines showin how far the brand has come in terms of young fashion. The shoes are often very similar to designer counterparts but for around £12 its cheap as chips!

The changing rooms in Matalan stores look a little make shift but they do the job I suppose. That really is my only criticism of the store - I like everything else about it.

The tills are pleantiful and although there is regularly a large queue it goes down very quickly.

Overall - great place to shop.
