McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Ashford.

There are many mixed opinions of the Ashford Designer Outlet, so i will give you my verdict on the place. When the outlet first opened it was a big thing for Ashford and it created many jobs and many visitors to the area and it still does. I would say it was not the best design as the food court is very cold in the winter not what you want while you are eating, however they have now put up heaters which help a bit. Although the outlet looks under cover with its tent look, its not. The shops all have their own units but the walk way is like a wind tunnel and you will certainly need your coat if it is raining as you will get wet.

The shops to me are not what i call DESIGNER shops, there are a couple like ralph lauren, tommy hilfiger, toshiba, Bose there are a few sports clothing shops and home sort of shops. Personally i'm not to keen on the place. Don't get me wrong its a great place if you know what you want and can save yourself some cash, but not all the products have 30% off high street prices as i have found out on a few occasions. So just be careful.

Summary: take it or leave it
