Advantages: everything under one roof

Disadvantages: can get far too busy

I remember meadowhall being built and everyone saying it was a waste or menace and that it wouldn't be as good as they are saying. Well they were certainly proven wrong all these years later when it is still going strong, expanding and very much a big business.

I can't tell you how many shops there are exactly but I know there are more than you need in one day (around 250). I have been on the web site to find the number of shops but found it very unhelpful so This includes boutiques', women's, men's, children's, shoes, sport, toys, hobbies, gifts, jewellery, food, restaurants, cinema, hairdressers and many more. Designer and speciality. Chain stores like Debenhams and the ever popular Disney store. You really can get anything you need. He only shop it doesn't have as far as I know is a hardware shop like Wilkinson's and you could get everything they have but not all in one shop.

Meadowvale has very carful décor and lighting. All designed to keep your mood good so you will stay longer and spend more. They have lots of public toilets in all different places and benches everywhere. There is a soft play centre to give kids a break from the boring shopping, this is £1 for 30 mins per child and is for all ages up to around 12 years. There is also an outdoor play area for free too.

For all shopaholics there is plenty to see and do and regular maps for new visitors too.
For those regular shoppers you can buy them a gift card so they can spend till their hearts content (or your wallet gives out).
