Advantages: Lots of shops, a cinema and decent places to eat

Disadvantages: Can get VERY busy

I've lived in Sheffield all my life and Meadowhall has been on my doorstep for most of it.

It's nice to see so many big-name designer stores all under one roof and it really is a much nicer place to shop than anywhere else nearby (the centre of Sheffield isn't worth discussing).

The centre on a whole is clean and well heated/cooled depending on the time of year. There's plenty of parking spaces for drivers and it's also next to a tram stop and has its own bus and train stations for people who use public transport.

When you've finished wandering around the shops, there's a large area full of eating places (The Oasis). McDonalds, KFC, Nando's and even a Frankie and Benny's can be found here!

The centre is also served by a 10-screen cinema, meaning you probably could spend the whole day there.

Be careful when you go though as Meadowhall does get very busy on weekends and public holidays - the best time to go is probably 3-4pm on a weekday... if you can get the time off work!

Summary: Don't go when it's busy and you'll be okay
