Advantages: undercover
Disadvantages: none
Meadowhall is well located for shopping. Just off the M1 close to Sheffield. There is plenty of free parking and various enterances and exits making entering and leaving the shopping centre relatively easy.
The shopping centre is in a sort of star shape with various 'legs' coming off a central food hall called the 'oasis'. The Oasis has lots of restaurants and fast food outlets meaning there is always something different to try. My favourites include La Taska, the baked potato stand and the curry hut. Towards the bottom end of meadowhall there are also a few other food outlets including Greggs and Burger King, should you get hunger mid shop!
The range of shops is very good with most high street stores having outlets there. Meadowhall is exceptionally good at sale time where you can pick up some great bargains.
I like the fact Meadowhall is all undercover. No cold northern winds blowing you all over while your trying to shop! I think this factor has contributed to the demise of Sheffield town centre but it simply cant compete with the selection and ease at meadowhall. Why pay for parking in the town centre and spend hours navigating through traffic to find the shops you need? Its all in one place here.
I like meadowhall and will continue to shop here in the future. Sorry Sheffield town centre - youve been well and truly beaten!
Summary: i love meadowhall
