MFINewest Review: ... was available around to help. They had just two people working in the store on the day and it was horrible finding help as you could not find any here. They had some alright beds available but their prices were just so high. After 20 minutes we got help here and then the staff worker we got was a little bit too pushy with the sales here. She was just about nearly forcing us to buy from here. She just would stop at all and tried her best with some ridiculous comments which did not apply to the bed in order for us to buy it. The customer service was just pathetic all over and some beds on sale had stain marks on them. I even saw one Blac... more |

MFI has been horrible with its service in Blackburn and last year it was more than horrible for me to use them. Came with my partner looking for a new sofa for the house it was crazy that not even one staff member was available around to help. Have recently had a kitchen fitted by MFI and although the fitting is good my complaint lies with the time taken to fit it!!!!!.We paid for the "premier" fit....................god knows why? in total it took nearly 5 months to install and still not happy. The "dedicated" installation team who are supposed to contact you through installation never do!!!!!!!!!!.When you try to complain to this team they are as much use as a chocolate fireguard. They say they will phone back and never do and when I try to contact loca store where purchased kitchen from you just get answerphone,I leav contact details and hear nothing. When you do manage to get through (good ... Me and my mum both purchased bathroom suites with MFI this year. With mine, there was a manufacturers fault with the waste pipe of the bath and a few months after it was installed, the waste pipe came loose, spilling water all over the bathroom floor, into the kitchen, I was electrocuted, the kitchen was destroyed and I am awaiting insurance coming through. I am also still awaiting a refund cheque, 5 months later!, for goods which we were sold that we did not need.
My mum's shower was never sealed by the MFI fitter and the first time it was used, the water gushed from the shower, to the floor, through the NEW floor, into her kitchen, damaging her books, TV and radio. She has been avoided like the plague and MFI will not take responsibility.
AVOID MFI! I will never use them again.

What an experience! And never again! Having gone to my local MFI store to purchase a dining tabe and chairs - they informed me that sale prices stood for another 3 weeks. We then went home to measure up etc and were quite excited about the perfect table we had found. I then returned to MFI to make an order and pay. After having taken all my details on the computer the salesperson absently told me that "oh sorry this item is discontinued!" I was speechless. I then suggested that they remove said items from the shopfloor and was met with a blank expression. Clearly MFI staff have no idea of MFI policy and what is and what is not for sale! I then wrote to head ... Read the complete review

We had a space kitchen fitted and supplied by MFI in July this year and it was pretty much a hassle free pleasant experience. Sandy from MFI in Falkirk helped us with the design, they arrived at all times as expected and prearranged for pre fit etc. The joiner (Ian) that fits their kitchens in Falkirk is unbelievably good and the finish is exceptional. It was a bit expensive but we used the interest free option which worked for our budget. It was started as planned and finished as planned which was just as well as we were off on holiday the day after it was completed. A couple of things didnt turn up in the delivery but the joiner just worked round that and they were ... Read the complete review
