Advantages: Cheap, good range, great bargains

Disadvantages: Better than Schreiber only by a little bit

The thing about MFI is that you could get a master craftman to assemble their furniture, and it would still wobble. The self-assembly instructions are clear enough for me to follow, but you do occaisionally get the odd grommet or rawl plug missing, which is very annoying if you don't have any spares to hand.

On the other hand, they ARE cheap, you can get a decent tall bookcase for around 30 pounds if you pick the right range (and don't mind the wobble). I got one but had to screw it to the wall before I was sure it was going to stay up, and I'm speaking as an ex-carpenter.

A good range of designs are available, and some great bargains to be had, even out of sale time.
