Disadvantages: Overpriced, poor quality products. Arrogant, rude, unprofessional obnoxious staff.

Avoid MFI at all costs, all they want is your money, and once they have it they won't care one little bit about you or your order.

To briefly summarise our experience. Paid for goods 5 weeks before delivery. Took a day's holiday to accept delivery as they would only deliver on a Wednesday. Furniture arrived incomplete and damaged. Re-delivery arranged with an extremely rude customer service advisor who would not even apologise for the inconvenience they had caused and again would only deliver on a Wednesday meaning more inconvenience in having to take even more time of work. Three deliveries later, all at our inconvenience rather than theirs and the same item each time arrived damaged in the same place due to poor packaging. Asked for a refund but were told we would have to go back to the store (30mile round trip). Went during their advertised opening hours to find store closed! Phone back customer service who refused to help but would get store manager to call me back. Surprise, surprise manager doesn't call, so went to store to get money back. Manager was the rudest, most arrogant and obnoxious man either my girlfriend or I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. He was more concerned about how this would affect his stores profits and staffs wages than the fact he had had our money for 16 weeks without providing us what we had paid for or the cost to us both financially and in time. Refused to refund until he had the stock back, but happy to take our money without providing us with the goods. Goods should be collected tomorrow with refund provided, will believe it when it happens.

Have now brought elsewhere for half the price, and so far received a much superior level of service.

Summary: MFI, probably the worst retailer in the world
