Not worth the wait!! (MFI)

I've never had a very high opinion of MFI, but I decided to give them a second chance recently. I'm decorating my sons (age 2) bedroom and decided to check out MFI for some furniture for him.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the furniture I looked at. It seems to have improved greatly since I last shopped there (about 10 years ago!). As the sale was on, and the furniture I liked was half price, I decided to order a midi sleeper bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers.

I eventually located a member of staff (why can you never find one when you want one?) and started to place my order. He then informed me that delivery would not be until 10th September at the very earliest.

I was flabbergasted, I was expecting the furniture with 14 days at the very latest! Here I was spending over £300 on furniture and they can't deliver for 6 weeks! (which it was at the time).

Needless to say I cancelled my order and won't be shopping there again. I hope that other people who read this opinion take note of this. MFI have no customer service whatsoever. It just shows that they don't care, when they can watch £300 just walk out of the door. If they don't pull their socks up I can see them going down, because everyone will walk out without buying anything.
