We bought a kitchen, half price. We used our own fitter. A few delays with a number of items being delivered but nothing too bad. The real problem began with the extractor fan, the first was broken, the fan shattered off its mountings. Fitter remarked that it was delicate and not packed properly inside. Ordered another which came eventually, also broken, fan sheered off inside. Spoke to manager at Isleworth Kieran who was very curt and rude, he said he had never come across such a problem but would order me another. He didn't. Chased Customer Services who ordered me a third unit. Came May bank holiday weekend, again smashed inside, no extra packaging as promised. Chased Customer S. said; 'We don't even know the supplier at Customer S, ...can't contact them' and 'Cant speak to manager but he will listen' 'Contact your store' They ordered a fourth unit.

I will never deal with MFI again. My Kitchen was paid for in full in January 2008, delivered 20/2/08 and should have been installed within 3 days. Because I am disabled we paid to stay in a hotel for 3 days so that the water, power etc could be turned off. It is now the end of April and my kitchen is still not installed, there are units ...

We purchased an MFI Kitchen with Appliances costing thousands of pounds and have had nothing but trouble during and since installation. We have written to the Managing Director on several occasions to little or no avail. We discovered that the team sent in for installation WAS NOT CORGI REGISTERED SO BEWARE ALL. Luckily my Husband has Corgi ...

MFI installed my kitchen and the results were really good. The installer was highly competent and very conscientious and he made a cheap kitchen look rather better than that. However, a dishwasher that went wrong was still unrepaired three months and three visits later and it took a lot of effort on my part before it was declared uneconomical to repair. It took another month before the old machine was picked up. They won't even refund me for the money paid to the MFI installer for installing the appliances. I'd advise you buy your appliances from John Lewis, which is where I'm going to be spending my refund money. You'll get more for your money and a 3 year warranty too!

please please please do NOT buy from mfi. They designed our kitchen, eventually arrived, they had not allowed for enough worktop. tried to order more and told it has been discontinued, told to buy it elsewhere. Then we were 2 units short, tried to reorder them, they came 4 weeks later, totally different from original, 2 hours on phone to customer services, said they have changed thier manufacturers, nothing they can do,.offered to send edging tape to try and match colour of original units, will be 3 more weeks.... What a joke. so i have spent thousands of pounds on a kitchen and have been left with a kitchen with differnt size worktop and different colour units and they wont do anything. zero stars

The first and the last time I shop at MFI, absolute rubish. Order took 1.5 month to deliver and then one piece of furniture completely damaged. They said it will take another 4 weeks to replace it, and furthermore one piece of furniture was different colour from others. I mean how more stupid it can get? I do not understand what kind of f... nutcase they are and what idiots they employ.
NEVER EVER EVER AGAIN I WILL GO TO MFI....RATING-ZERO STARS

I ordered a tap from them back in november 2007 to repair a faulty tap that i bought from them previously and still haven't received it yet sent 3 emails and phoned them about 10 times . Some of the staff have been very rude talking over me whilst explaining things to them. I lodged a complaint against them with consumer direct and was told that i was entitled to repair replace or refund from the origianal tap, so sent them an email but not even replied .MUPPETS FOOLS IDIOTS

Avoid MFI at all costs, all they want is your money, and once they have it they won't care one little bit about you or your order. To briefly summarise our experience. Paid for goods 5 weeks before delivery. Took a day's holiday to accept delivery as they would only deliver on a Wednesday. Furniture arrived incomplete and damaged. ...

Bought my bathroom in July and paid balance at beginning of October. Wasn't told at the time that you don't find out until the night before, when you call the company, when the delivery is going to be. Incredibly inconvenient as it means taking a whole day off work for a 10 minute delivery! The fitting was scheduled for 5th November which went ...

I can ony echo previous complains about customer services and deliveries. I phoned them up 4 times over a two week period to confirm a delivery - the last phonecall the day before. The day came and went and no delivery. They had changed the delivery to the following day without telling me and I could not be there. Now I have to wait another two ...

After deciding to have a new kitchen fitted, we visited the MFI store in Llandudno. There, we expressed our interest in one of the kitchens to the sales staff. We filled in a form, and were told that they would get back to us to arrange a site visit. A week later, there had been no contact from MFI whatsoever, so we called them up, to find that ...

We purchased an extensive fitted bedroom - two rooms really - in early Jan 2007 and arranged fitting for mid m March 07. The day before delivery we were telephoned to say there were a few parts missing but that delivery would be made separately whilst the fitter was working. Delivery duly noted that 3 doors to wardrobes and three drawers from ...

Dreadfull service, rude staff, useless customer services. Its all true. We ordered a three piece suite with a promised delivery date. It didn't come. MFI are the epitomy of all that equates to 'jobsworth' customer service. Every delivery we had from MFI had damaged pieces. When reporting the damage they ask you if the damage will be noticable! Hardly relevant, I'm not paying for damaged goods I'm paying for perfect items. We had to wait 3 weeks for 1 replacement part. What really amazed me was ...
