Advantages: Gorgeous, hardwearing clothes. Good used ebay potential.

Disadvantages: Expensive.

In my ongoing attempt to find nice, hardwearing clothes for my three children I recently came across Mini Boden. Boden do mens and ladies wear, both of which I find a little plain, maybe dare I say it dated... however the childrens lines are anything but! Once browsing the catalogue I was delighted with the look and designs of the fabrics. No children dressed up to look like adults (my pet hate) here, all the clothes are colourful and practical with kooky or hotchpotch designs. Brilliant!

I decided to put an order in online. The site is easy to use and the really great thing is that people can write reviews of an item and put them up on the site, this really helps in choice and size selection. Upon receiving my order I was very pleased with the quality of the clothes. They have washed and worn very well and the construction and quality shines through. My particular favourites are the Tartan Baggies for my son, lovely warm brushed cotton and so cute. He is on his third pair and the ones he has used have washed and worn so well I was able to get a good return on them by eBaying them. Happy days!

My only gripes with Mini Boden is that they are rather expensive, this is however justified in the outstanding quality and durability of the clothes. They do have a good sale online, but stock levels are limited and you have to be quick to get a bargain. More popular items (such as the tartan baggies) are like gold-dust and really quickly sold out as soon as they become available.

Overall I have had some lovely outfits from Mini Boden, my children look like children should, and i'm happy because you can wash and wash these clothes without them fading or falling to pieces. You get what you pay for....

Summary: Give them at try, you will save money in the long run.
