Advantages: Very beautifully made clothes and great use of colours

Disadvantages: A bit pricey but I think worth it

I am fairly new to Monsoon, shame on me! It is a truly inspiring shop with an equally inspirational stock. When you walk in you feel like you can be whoever you want to be without compromising on how you look.

As a wheelchair user with my poor-put-upon-bloke as my carer I find it infuriating when shops just add a larger booth in the single sex changing room for us less mobile consumers. Not Monsoon, not our store anyway. They have an independent booth with a seat and rails and plenty of elbow room albeit if you have short arms but they made an effort to provide somewhere my carer can come in and help without having to avert his 'roving' eye...lol.

The clothes are of a very high standard, beautifully made. Monsoons use of colour makes it, in my opinion, the place to go for summer. Yet it's warmer woolies never feel frumpy.

One of those unfrumpy woolies went out of stock on the website before I got to buy it...I am easily distracted...I really really liked it too. My local shop no longer had it nor did any other store within a reasonable distance. My bloke phoned the helpline who were incredibly helpful and tracked one down in a store who packaged it up and sent it to me. Not so much as an extra mile as the whole way there. What great staff they have too.

I have recently made more than a few purchases and can pretty much mix and match everything. It is great for the basic wardrobe staples such as tee's and vests yet it outdoes itself with it's classic and jaw dropping dresses. I believe you get what you pay for, yes the item may cost more than you would normally pay but I guarantee it will last a lifetime.

If I could only shop in 1 shop for the rest of my life it would have to be Monsoon.
