Look out for the special offers (Morrisons)

Advantages: Some items are cheaper than other supermarkets

Disadvantages: They tempt you with cakes!

Convenience: Morrisons is my nearest superstore, thats of course isn't going to help you as yours may be miles away, but for me this is a bonus.

Parking: Great, always loads of spaces (don't quite know what this actually says about the store?) Either there are lots of spaces because the car park is big or because nobody shops there? Sorry, no help to you again as your Morrisons car park is likely to be a different size anyway!

Layout of store: The store layout is pretty similar to most superstores really. They put the essential items (bread, milk) to the rear and/or far end of teh store just to make you walk past those lovely cakes that you don't need but take a fancy to and put in your shopping basket on your way past. Then just as you have got to know where everything is so that you don't walk down that tempting cake aisle they move it all around again!

Special offers: More recently most superstores have been pushed into selling items at a reduced rate 'the credit crunching' offers! I have to say I have been prety impressed with many of the offers that Morrisons have had on. They have had items such as 8 chilled burgers for 50p, and they are regulalry selling froze items for £1, pizzas, potato products, fishfingers etc, all frozen and mostly less than half price. If possible I would recommend stocking up on these items when they appear on offer.

Regular priced items: I do find that some of Morrisons food items are better priced than other supermarkets. Bread and bacon are two examples.

So overall I quite like Morrisons. Did I say I do my main shop at Tesco? But I do pay attention to the special offers on at Morrisons and these days I pop in there too to get those items I know are cheaper or those that I know are on special offer. I am lucky of course as I have both of these supermarkets on my doorstep. Sometimes we can choose and sometimes we just have to put up with what we are given.

PS. Morrisons cafe is fab - the breakfast is scrummy!
