A Voice For Amy

Who would listen when I cried in pain
Who would listen when I cried again ?
Who would listen when I was all alone
My Little body broken bone by bone ?
Who would listen when I cried for lpve
When I begged for help from God above ?

No-one listened then to my futile cries
But they listened to others and their wicked lies
But here me now My voice is strong
Im the voice of children who dont belong.

Amy was sixteen months old when she was beaten and starved to death

No doubt many people read Baby Amys story in the papers, thought how terrible, closed the paper and she was forgotten. This little girl is not going to be forgotten, say her name every time you look in your childrens eyes, Amy lurks there. Her father got twenty-two years in prison, ( although we all know that this sentence will not be anything like the twenty-two years given) her mother aware of the fact her child was being beaten and starved to death, turned a blind eye. We didn't listen to her cry and suffering when she was alive,listen now. Let Amy be the voice for other children that are being abused today. Whilst little Amy's body lies in her grave cold and alone (very similar to how she was in life) this monster that murdered her is fed,kept warm and probably kept safe from other prisoners. I ask Why ?? Who Kept Amy safe, this monster should weep every day for the rest of his life but he wont. He showed no remorse for what he did in court, he has no conscious Nobody heard little Amys voice when she was dying , nobody felt her pain, nobody picked her up and cuddled her told her she was loved. Look at your kiddies and think how would you feel if this was your child But Amy was your child, a product of the society we live in.. She died alone. HEAR HER VOICE NOW. Lobby Parliament and MPs get this message across that we will no longer be a part of a society that not only allows our children to be abused but does not administer prison sentances that reflect the crime committed. These people are time and time repeating thier abuse on children and please dont think this could not happen to your child it could. Please Please Please be active, protect children. I am starting a blog on Manchester Online, and I need peoples reactions. There is already a group Ive started on Facebook, Let the Children Have A Voice, get on there make your feelings known. Every comment I recieve will go to 10 Downing St.Let Amys voice be heard.
