Morrisons has certainly come a long way. I particularly like the excellent fish selection (which includes squid and octopus), the wine choices and the cheese.

It's great to see that you can get excellent quality things (such as newspaper-reviewed wines) for cheap prices.

The fruit and veg is a bit hit and miss. We bought some organic lettuce once and found green fly in it!

We have had some bad experiences in Morrisons, but with other customers not the staff. On one occasion, we left our trolley for a few seconds and we came back to see a family taking our items out of it to take our trolley. They were going to take our quid from the trolley deposit thing.

The food in the 'restaurant' is awful. I had the misfortune of eating there once and never again. Was that supposed to be food?

If Morrisons sorts out the restaurant and the organic food, it could be a serious competitor for the other supermarkets.

Summary: Fish, wine and cheese selection excellent, but sort out your restaurant
