Advantages: Huge variety at great prices

Disadvantages: Takes ages to do my shopping as the stores are so big.

There has been a Morrisons store in the town I live for as long as I can remember but I have alway shopped at Tesco and on the few occassions I went to Morrisons I ended up leaving because it was just too big and I couldn't find anything I needed.
However a few months ago in a national newspaper they were giving out vouchers where if you spent £30 in Morrisons you could get £5 off. They printed six vouchers in total to use over a six week period. Being the money saver that I am I decided to give Morriosons another go.

Over the six weeks that I used the vouchers I must admit I was converted, I now shop in Morrisons all of the time. The store may be so much bigger than my local Tesco's but that is only because there is so much more variety. They sell everything and the best bit about Morrisons is that they have seperate counters serving fresh food.
There is a fish monger, a butcher and a baker. The fresh bread is out of this world and their meat is really tasty, not sure about the fish because I am not a lover of fish.

They also have some really great offers on throughtout the store, buy one get one free and better than half price. My favourite has got to be the BBQ meal deal where you can get all the food required for a BBQ for £4, this has been a regular offer throughout the summer and the last time it was on the meal deal was for £3, what a bargain. We have lots of BBQ's so really loved this offer.

Morrisons always advertises on television, usually Melanie Sykes, Nick Hanncock or Alan Hanson. I really like the fact there best offers are featured on TV as it reminds me to go in store and take advantage of the offers.

I think on the negative side I now seem to spend more money as there is so much available I find myself buying things I didn't intend to. More choice means more spending.

I feel disloyal shopping at Morrisons after being a Tesco customer for so long but with the huge variety, the fabulous fresh food and the great offers and price cuts they have I just can't resist Morrisons. A supermarket that in my opinion beats the other alternatives.
