I agree with "yesidoo" when it comes to customer servicing in my local Mothercare World, apart from being almost impossible to get too without a car the staff certainly arent breaking there backs to help you, I have been before when it was very quiet and was asked just once if I needed assistance and I have been when it has been chocca and needed assistance and there was nobody in sight! I certainly think they need to rethink there staff organising. In all fairness though I think most of there stock is quite good, only today I went and bought some books for my two children and they were reasonably priced. We also picked some christmas presents for future buying but again there was noone around to help apart from the people on the tills. I do think some things there are quite expensive for what they are but nomore than anywhere else in my opinion. I also think its a shame they cant order certain prams for example if you have the mamas&papas catalogue and picked a pram which you liked they wouldnt be able to get it for you unless it was there in the shop or stockable to themselves. All in all it is a good shop with all you need for baby and you, it is just a shame it is let down on these points.
