Disadvantages: saving no money

Everyone was raving about MVC so I thought I'd go in and have a look. The first thing that put me off was that you had to fill in all of your details in order to get the card and have money off the CDs in the shop. But, I filled in my details reluctantly expecting to save lots of money on my favourite CDs. I went browsing the store only to find that you only saved £1-£2 off each CD. I thought well maybe in the long run I?d save lots of money. But, then I looked again and the non-cardholders price was actually £1-£2 more expensive than in any other shop anyway, so really you were not saving any money at all.
The one time I went into MVC and bought something I payed £12.99 for the CD thinking at the time it was a fair price for the CD only to find when I went in to a variety of other music shops only to find the CD priced at £10.99. When I went to take the CD back to MVC they wouldn't let me and repeatedly told me that they had not seen they CD at that price and even when I proved it they still would not let me have a refund or even exchange the CD.
I was not impressed by MVC and I prefer to shop else where for my CDs now. I think that the least they could do is actually make sure that you save money on CDs if that is what they are saying!
