expensive with a discount (MVC)

Advantages: Lots of choice, more and more opening nationwide

Disadvantages: expensive even with a discount, inconvenience of form filling

MVC operate a members policy, where you join (usually this is free) and then you get a membership card which they have to scan to activate the discount. This means that every product has two prices on, one for members and one for non members. This isn't really confusing as things are well labelled, just irritating as you know you will have to join, but don't want all the hassle of doing so. MVC do all the usual things that any record and video stores do, the stock, videos, dvd's, cd singles and albums, some books and mags and in some stores they operate video rental facilities which is a little different and i think it is actually quite competitive compared to other rental agents.

The thing is that if there were big discounts it would be worth going to, but in my experience even with a discount the are more expensive and it seems that there is thus little incentives to join as it is such an inconvenience.
