Advantages: cheap

Disadvantages: not attractively laid out, bad reputation

Although Netto has a reputation for being cheap and probably not very good quality, I think it is an excellent store. The people who malign the quality of goods in the store are usually those who never shop at Netto. It isn't attractively laid out or as inviting as many big name supermarkets and if you look in through the window you might easily get the impression that it's 'cheap and nasty, but that's not so.

I don't particularly like the layout at Netto but I do like the prices and quality. You can buy some well known branded goods here too. For example, I saved £1.60 on a purchase of Persil Washing Tablets and my sugar cost just 43p. Add to this a bottle of cheap red wine at £1.58 and saving of £1.20 on my coffee, milk and chocolate biscuits and it was worth going in there. I did notice a considerable decrease in my total weekly shopping bill of more than £6.

Can anyone say this isn't worth having?

This sounds good - pity we haven't got one round here, but I will keep my eye open when we're out and about if I can make savings like that!
