Advantages: Cheap with a wide range of products.

Disadvantages: some things lack quality.

I worked for New Look for three years and enjoyed every minute.
When i first started i must admit that quality was just about the last thing that this shop had going for it. I was constantly returning faulty goods and exchanging burst zips, however in the last few years you've probably noticed that most shops have well... got a new look. We had a complete make over inside and outside all the stores. We brought in a much wider choice of 915 (9 year old to 15 year olds) clothing and began focusing on a more grown up fashion look. We began offering a much better range of woman's suits and jeans at a much better quality.
All this revamp did get reflected in the prices. As a member of staff i began noticing the gradual increase in prices.

Jewelery was another huge change. Gone was the cheap nasty silver coloured earings and necklaces that made your ears sore and your neck green, instead we got much more fashionable selection of everything, from toe socks to toe rings. It was much more appealing. There was great discount too, buy one get one for a pound and buy one get one for half price.

Underwear was another big addition. I still feel that there are quality issues with the underwear and would never put on a pair of pants without washing them first. It was me that was the one that was constantly picking them off the dirty floor at night.

The newest products on sale are the baby clothes. I feel that the baby clothes are a little bit over prices but if you catch them in the sale then they are woth it.

I was the account card motivator in my store, i had to make sure that all the girls reached the acount card target. The card has moved from GE Capital to New Looks own company, its worth it and does offer loads of discounts to card holders. The APR is pretty high but if you pay your bill ontime and in full you wont get any charges.

Anybody looking for a job? Good pay and a whopping 50% discount is a great deal!

Summary: Getting better with time but also getting more expensive.
