Advantages: Cheap prices

Disadvantages: The poor quality, makes you look unattractive

New Look is a store you will find on most High Streets, in the UK, Belguim, France, Republic of Ireland and the United Arab Emirates. New Look was founded in 1969 by a man named Tom Singh of Taunton, Somerset. The store grew so quickly, it now has over 600 stores iternationally.

I have always been a big fan of New Look, but lately i have started to think otherwise. New Look sells a wide range of ladies clothes, mens clothes, childrens clothes, and a wide range of fashon shoes and accessories.

Recently i was looking for a Christmas party outfit, i saw lots of pretty outfits in the shop window so i decided to try New Look. I saw lots of pretty dresses, and tops, but when i went to try them on, the quality was really poor, and made me look awful. Everything just didn't fit nicely, so just made me feel really unattractive.

In the past i have bought lots of t-shirts from New Look and loved them, they have a good fit and look good too.

Prices are usually always fairly cheap, but i think this is why the quality is so poor.

I don't rate the clothes, but i always find a great range of accessories to chose from. I recently picked up a very nice fashionable belt for £8, and i love it. They also have a wide range of clutch bags, and all very cheaply priced for the good quality.

New Look has had a few celebrity collaborations over the past few years, these include Kelly Brook, Lily Allen, Fearne Cotton and British designer of the year 2006 Giles Deacon. I wasn't very impressed by the celeb range, to me it wasn't any different to anything else New Look would sell. I tried on a few Lily Allen outfits, but again, the poor quality stuck out, and wasn't worth the extra money just because it has Lily Allen on.

My local store has just had a revamp, and looks very stylish now, a bit like the big Oxford St branch in London. Everything is nicely laid out, and its really easy to find what your looking for.

The customer service staff are always very helpful, i have visted many stores, these include Bluewater, Maidstone, London Oxford St, Lakeside, and all staff have been more than happy to assit you, and nothing is ever to much for them.

I would probably not recommend New Look to my friends, but i will still pop in time to time, and look at the lovely accessories.
