About the shop
============

New look is a high street clothes store which also sells a selection of jewellery, shoes and a few other items. The first new look store was opened in 1969 and since then they have launched the 915 range in 1995 and in 2000 the launced the inspire range for sizes 16+. Newlook also now has a menswear range in 30 uk stores.
Newlook currently has 700 stores across europe
and 510 stores in the UK.

Footwear
========

Most Newlook stores have quite a wide range of footwear including the latest fashions. They sell alot of boots and stylish shoes but not so many trainer or casual shoes. I have never brought any shoes from newlook so i cant really comment on these but i think the quality is not too bad.

915 range
=========

The 915 range is designed for children aged 9 to 15 and includes popular fashions amoungst the younger age group. The only criticism i do have of this range is that it results in alot of young girls walking round in almost tarty clothes whichat their age i dont think they should really be wearing as it does put too much emphasis on the importance of wearing the "right" clothes and styles which could be the beginning of all sorts of problems such as eating disorders etc as they feel that they are being pressured to look a certain way.

Inspire 16+
=========

The inspire range includes clothes in sizes 16 upwards, these are based on the latest fashions and enables the store to accomodate for all of the customers needs. I think this is a great range as it enables people who are larger to be able to buy clothes easily without having to go to 'special' shops for larger sizes.

New Look Clothes
===============

New look clothes in general are pretty fairly priced although this is probably because the quality is not particulary great. You can often get a bargain as they always have sales and good offers. New look is great for the younger age groups as it allows them to buy clothes that are not too expensive and although they may not last very long this means that the customer can then move with the fashions of the time. I wouldnt reccomend new look clothes if you want something that will last long and not shrink in the wash! But is especially good to buy a pretty top for a party or a smart outfit for a special occasion. The only other slight disadvantage is that because it is such a popular shop amoungst younger people you can walk down the street and find several people wearing the same top as you!
One positive is that New Look has an against animal testing policy which can make people feel better!


Jewellery
=======
New look does sell a range of jewellery which seems to appear a bit cheap and tacky but if you have a good rummage you can sometimes find something that you like.


Underwear
=========
Most new look stores have a relatively low prices selection of underwear including some quite pretty bras and knickers and thongs etc. These are of the same quality of the clothes so after a while of use can lose their shape etc.


The staff
========
The staff can be a bit awkward to deal with as when there is a massive que they chat to their fellow staff whilst slowly serving each customer which is quite frustrating but on the positive side they are very good for refunds and returning products.


The stores
====
The stores normally have a good range of stock although sometimes appear a little crowded as they try to put out as much stock as possible! This is only really a problem for wheelchair users and people with pushchairs or prams as they may be quite restricted in moving around the shop. The stock itself is normally well displayed and easy to access.


The changing rooms.

Most stores have a sufficient number of changing rooms which are reasonably sized and are curtained with full length mirrors in.


All in all
=======
All in all i think that new look is an excellent store for younger people as most of the clothes are affordable and conform to the latest fashions. As long as you are aware that your purchases may not last long then it is a great shop.
