There's no getting past it, New Look is a huge highstreet success. I would say that every average girl has probably bought something from there at one time or another, whatever their views are about the shop. I personally, have always had very mixed views about New Look. One minute I love it, the next minute I won't set foot in there.

Don't get me wrong, it is an ok shop. I'll find the odd thing I like in there and the prices are decent. But I haven't always had the best of service and quite often, the clothes I've bought from their haven't lasted all that long. I do have a few tops that I like. I bought one a short while ago for my sisters engagement party and really love it. But it isn't all that often that I actually find something I really like in there.

On the subject of their shoes, I've bought a few pairs that have been good, yet I've also bought some that have been not so good... A while back I bought a pair of black mary jane heels. They looked nice, I liked them but my god did they hurt my feet! I had two huge blisters on the sides of my feet by the end of the night and I hadn't been walking for all that long. I've worn them a few times since, thinking I just needed to wear them in, but they haven't got any better. As well as this, any pairs of pumps I've ever bought have been very painful to wear. On the other hand, they do some decent shoes. I've always liked their boots and they've always been comfortable for me.

The accessories I don't tend to go near to often. I like the purses and headbands. But the bags and Jewellery just look downright tacky!

I have to say I didn't mean to slate New Look quite so much in this review! I do like the place, honestly! But I personally only tend to go in there as a last resort, if I can't find something anywhere else. I think I probably appreciated the place more when I was about 13. You're getting what you pay for really. Some ok clothes for some ok prices.
