Advantages: Well priced and fashionable shoes and knitwear, constant new pieces

Disadvantages: Non-fitting bras and jeans

New look has never been a favourite high street shop for me, however more recently I have started to appreciate these stores. New Look is not on the level of Primark in respect to bargains, but their competitively priced and well made shoes and knitwear in particular have officially won me over.

New Look caters for young girls, women and have recently added a men's range - not available in all of the stores, but is on their website. This shop used to make me think of teen fashions, constructed entirely out of slinky lycra material and sequins - and occasionally this remains the case, but for the most part New Look has risen to compete with the likes of Topshop and other top high street labels. Personally, they are my ultimate favourite store for cardis, and their summer floral dresses and amazing collection of heels always catch my eye.

Knitwear around £10-20, and heels at £25-40, alongside their 10% student discount, makes New Look a student haven and perfect for staple pieces in any wardrobe. regular updates to their collections make New Look a fantastic place for an oufit for a night out.

Personal negatives of New Look, for me, are the vest tops which I find fairly ill fitting and unflattering, as are the bras. The jeans are also all too large for me, I am fairly petite but it's disappointing that they don't cater for smaller sizes.
