If I need a new outfit for a night out, New Look is the first shop that I look in. It is also great for casual gear and nice underwear aswell. I have got loads of clothing from there over the past couple of years, in fact, if you look in my wardrobe I think nearly every item has a New Look label in it!

My father-in-law gets me New Look gift vouchers for every birthday and Christmas without fail. He probably only gets them because he is short on ideas of what to buy but I think that its great and I dont mind in the slightest. Any excuse to go shopping!

I usually visit the branches in either Pontefract, Wakefield or Barnsley but I have also been to the one that has opened in York (typical after I moved away from there!). The shops do tend to be a bit cramped, especially when its busy, but it is half the fun having to battle round searching for bargains....not so fun when your husband is waiting impatiently outside! We?ve fallen out many times because he has got fed up of waiting for me. Its because there are so many great things to try on ...and then put back and try in a different size/colour!!

New Look have brilliant sales - particularly at this time of year. I have just been the other day after receiving my usual gift vouchers for Christmas and it was fab. I must admit that they do sometimes put some rubbish out on the racks (as do a lot of other shops) when it comes to sales but this year it was excellent. I got some great bargains. I bought a pair of dirty denim jeans that I wanted. These unfortunately were not in the sale (typical!!). I also got a nice polo neck jumper for a fiver, a lovely sparkly vest top (which was ideal for New Year?s Eve) which was also a fiver. The best buy of all though was a pair of trousers - suitable for work or going out in - 3 quid!!!! Unbelievable.
It did take me nearly two hours to find, try on, swap, try on again and eventually purchase all these items but still - I was chuffed!
