Advantages: Very helpful and everything is fantastic quality!

Disadvantages: Can sometimes be a bit on the expensive side!

I expect we have all been into Next and bought something.

My opinion though is about when something goes wrong in Next, which I must add isn`t very often!

After looking everywhere for a Christening dress for my daughters Christening, and you would not believe how hard they are to find, I finally found one on Next site.

As the Christening was less than 2 weeks away we decided to go into the shop and sort it out from there.

We went into the Next in Swindon Orbital Shopping Park on the Friday.

We ordered a beautiful Christening robe and paid the £25 in advance. We were told that it would be there in the shop for us on Monday.

With the Christening being on the following Sunday, we knew we had left it late but thrilled it was at last organised.

Come the Monday we telephoned to make sure the store had had their delivery before driving the 15 miles to get it.

No, it was going to arrive on the Wednesday.

No, it was not in and looks doubtful if it would be in at all until the following week.

Can you imagine how I felt.. Crying is an understatement.. I was devestated!

Anyway my brother took over here and said he wanted to speak to the Manager. The Manager wasn't there but they said they would get her to call us, to which we though "oh yeah". But she did.

After being told what had happened she said she would move heaven and earth to get us one as she had Children and knew how much of a panick these things are.

Well she not only moved heaven and earth and found the identical one, she had it sent to us at home by special delivery and my Daughter got a beautiful Christening card from the store.

Now that is what I call putting things right and a big thank you to Next.

I`ve never had any problems with next, they are fantastic. You can order a copy of the catalogue for £3.50 on the site www.Next.co.uk or order one in store. I love looking round next so I don't have a catalogue myself as I`d be dangerous... really I would. My sister does and has next day delivery alot of the time.
You can buy gift vouchers that they place on a card for you, which is fantastic as you can add to this and it`s great for puting money on throughout the year for Christmas presents ect.
They sell so much and not just clothes.


You can order fresh flowers that can are delivered to the door, these range from £18-£45 and are beautifully presented in so many different ways. You can also have chocolates and flowers as a package.

Belgian chocolates (these taste amazing) £5 small £10 large Moutard Champagne Brut £20 Rose £25
A range of perfumes that all smell wonderful and are priced at £5-£10
Balloons with a message on which can be either Happy Birthday, Congratulations or Thank You and are £2.50.

All this can be added to the flowers to personalise it that little bit more!!

Although these items are in the catalogue and on the website they can also be ordered in store as well.
The Home section in the shop is brilliant. Although it is a bit pricey it is well worth it as it`s great quality. They sell everything including mirrors, tables and dining room sets, shelves, cabinets of all kinds, sofas and sofa beds, lights and many more things but I wont go on as the list could go on forever.

Although I was upset as I had to chase them rather than them phone, they did explain they didn't have a system that could allow them to do this due to so many orders going through each day.
If you haven`t given Next a chance go and have a wander round as there is something for everyone not just clothing either.
