Great for the kids but not me! (Next)

Advantages: Good for kids clothes

Disadvantages: Trousers don't fit!

Next has a great range of winter clothes for children. I recently bought two boys sweters in a georgous shade of kingfisher blue and toning canvas trousers for just £34. I thought that was extremely good value as the quality is superb. They will probably grow out of them before they wear them out.

When I went to choose something for me I was very disappointed. All their standard trousers were too long. The short length ones were too short. I guess I must be an oddity as far as Next is concerned, although I always considered my size to be pretty ordinary. I'm very slim and only just over five feet three tall and that seemed to be a problem!
