Next Directory

Next is a high street clothing/homewear retailer that also has a catalogue called Next Directory selling all of their products. They also have an on-line service with all the same products available.

Next Directory sells a wide range of products such as-
Women's, Men's, & Children's clothing, shoes, accessories and underwear
Household items such bedding, curtains, cushions etc.
Garden furniture, pots etc.
And also have a flower delivery service.

My experience of next directory is with the children and women's clothes. I use the catalogue to help me budget. I have an account with a £500 credit and have had this for around three years.

To use the directory you pick the items you want and either telephone to order or go on-line and order. In general you pay £3.95 for delivery and the items are usually delivered the next day. I have found the delivery service to be very efficient. If the items are not any good you re-package and send them freepost at the post office or call your local courier (will be advised who this is) and arrange for him/her to come ad collect the package. Your account is usually re-credited within seven days. I have never had a problem with returned items.

You receive a paper bill through the post each month advising you how much your monthly payment is. You must pay your minimum payments every month and anything above this you want. You can pay by direct debit or be telephone/on-line using a debit card.

I have ordered shoes and a suit for work from the women's wear and found it to be very well fitting, stylish and good value for money. The shoes looked good and were hard wearing. The shoes (leather) cost just £20 and the suit was £80.

My experience of the kid's clothes is fantastic. I find them well fitting (have elastic waists etc) easy to wash and very hardwearing. Price wise they are great. An average kids outfit is around £15-£30.

Overall-
For me a great directory

Summary: Really good
