Don't you just hate having no control (Northern Electric Retailer)

I would advise against anybody buying from Northern Electric retail.
I bought a dishwasher last year, when I got it home the waste pipe was damaged. It leaked water into my undersink cupboard. I phoned the shop at Teesside Park immediately and they assured me that a new pipe was on it's way. Fortunately I was able to administer a temporary fix to the offending pipe. This was just as well because the new pipe didn't arrive for two months. Obviously during this time there were numerous phone calls, faxes, shop visits, buck passing and assurances. Two weeks ago I reported another fault with the dishwasher, a plastic part had cracked. This fault was reported in the shop, my account details were brought up and passed on. A fortnight later, yesterday in fact, an engineer turned up with my new part. Well actually it was the wrong one completely and couldn't be fitted. I'll have to wait another fortnight at least while they go through all the rigmarole of ordering yet another part.
The moral is if you want something that might work, go to Northern Electric Retail, you might get something that does as it's intended 6 months or so later.
