Happy Girlie: High quality clothing I recommend (Oasis)

Advantages: high quality clothing

Disadvantages: sometimes pricey, aimed at a slightly older audience than myself

WHAT IS IT?
Oasis is a highstreet store. It is slightly 'upmarket' in some of its prices. I also feel its aimed at 20 somethings but as an 18 year old I can still shop there. Its on a similar par to warehouse, maybe slightly older audience.

THE CLOTHES
My opinion is they are all of very high quality. My mum is a very good seamstress and just recently i brought home a dress from oasis and my mum commented on how well it had been made...something about having proper stichting or hems or something which is not normally seen in your bog standard highstreet shop.

You can find a range of everything from day to day jeans and nice tops to clubbing type dresses. I must stay I only shop in there for the special occasions because it is not cheap cheap stuff I can throw away after a fashion season and its slightly out of my age range but what i have bought has been brilliant.

THE SHOP DESIGN
Always clean cut and white. Never looks a mess. Always split into sections e.g. going out, day to day... Never a problem. Some changing rooms are not superb (walls in lakesides were starting to lose it) but cant say this is a problem really can i?!!

THE STAFF AT LAKESIDE
Obviously I havent been to every store but I have to comment on my lakeside visit. I recently turned 18 and needed a dress for the occasion. After several failed shopping visits I had given up until my dad dragged me into Oasis. I told him I wouldnt find anything in there (as its too old) and I was wrongg! As the manager could see i NEEDED a girlie shopping with me (for zips, opinions, etc) she gathered the staff and I pretty much had a personal shopping experience. She found me several gorgoues dresses and I went away knowing I would look beautiful. She didnt have to do this. But she did and i was so appreciative.

I think in general the staff at most Oasis stores are similar as they are all the 20 somethings that would shop here so have a bit more about them than the older M&S staff or the 16 year old top shop.
