What happened to the club? (The Officers Club)

The Officers Club used to be one of those shops that I loved going in when out and about shopping in the shopping centres to pick up some brilliant bargains but things are not all rosy in the clubhouse anymore.
The Officers Club is a store which offers fashion clothes for men with a variety of different styles on offer but more recently I have noticed that the products have become more and more aimed at the younger market. The items on offer include such things as socks, boxers, hats, gloves, belts, jackets, jeans, t-shirts, shirts, boots, shoes and more.
The quality of the items have of recent times become much worse with the cuts being poor on most items and the products themselves not lasting very long before they begin to fall apart.
The items are now cheap but with the quality on offer being so poor there are a number of places which for me jump ahead of The Officers Club for men looking for their clothing needs and good value for money.
The staff on the whole are not very helpful and the stores are often not very clean or welcoming with signs regularly all across the windows stating that the place is closing down (funny that it has been for years and gets new stock deliveries).

- Poor quality items
- Poor staff and unclean, unwelcoming stores
- Poor value for money
- Lack of information or help when you ask for it

This used to be somewhere I used on occassions but with the drop in standards I would not shop at them again and can't wait for the closing down signs to become a truthful event to allow a store more deserving to open.

Summary: Not worth a look in and don't waste your money
