I'm also going to write about the Japanese Bonsai Garden in St Magwan Village, near Newquay. We visited this year in July when on holiday in Newquay. I've only ever seen bits of Japanese gardens in the UK in parts of garden displays and never a full pure Japanese garden. It's a beautiful peaceful tranquil space where you could spend hours walking round, sitting, admiring the beautiful scenery and plants.
